Match Preview : Stirling Albion v Berwick Rangers – Ladbrokes League Two

Ladbrokes League Two action returns today with a clash between the sides currently in 8th and 9th place in the early season table.
The game at Forthbank, kicking off at 3pm, represents a battle of the new bosses with Johnny Harvey taking charge of his first away league fixture and Kevin Rutkiewicz managing the Binos for only the second time.

Both managers will be keen to get some early points on the board in what promises to be a full -blooded affair from the two lowest scoring sides in the division. Both sides have lost 8 of their 10 games in 2018/19 so will be desperate for the points on Saturday.
Berwick beat Stirling 1-0 on the opening day of this season but last won away at The Binos in August 2015.

History
This will be the 105th league encounter between the sides with Berwick only recording 8 away victories in 50 attempts.

Berwick News
After a mid-week friendly it will be interesting to see how Harvey alters his defence line after the costly battle with Cowdenbeath last weekend. John Neill, Chris Hamilton and captain Robert Wilson will all be missing having been sent off in that match. There are also currently injuries to Sean Murphy, Jamie Todd and Ousman See who continues his rehabilitation. Jack Murray and Matthew O’Connor step up into the squad having shown good form with the Reserves this season.

Stirling News
Stirling will be without striker Mark Stewart and on-loan Dundee goalkeeper Calum Ferrie, who are both sidelined with injury. Rutkiewicz will also be assessing the fitness of several squad members prior to kick-off as some missed the game last weekend and will need to be monitored. Alan Gow could feature as a trialist for the third and final time.

Ladbrokes have this clash as follows:
