Main club sponsor for 2015/16 season announced at AGM

On Monday, January 26, Berwick Rangers FC PLC held their 62nd AGM at Shielfield Park where it was announced that Automatic Retailing Vending Ltd will be the new main club sponsor for the 2015/16 season.

The Gateshead-based company, whose chairman is Berwick Rangers associate director Neil Templeman, has signed a one-season deal which will mean that ARV will be displayed on the new team kits for next season.

Chairman Brian Porteous thanked JB Site Investigations for their excellent support in their seasons of sponsorship which runs out at the end of the current campaign.

Porteous reported a profit of £2,950 for the financial year ending May 31, 2014 – the fourth year in a row in which a profit has been shown – while he was also delighted to confirm that manager Colin Cameron had extended his stay with the club until summer 2016.

John Hush, who has served both the Supporters Club and the club itself for more than 50 years, was appointed honorary president and will remain as a director. He takes over the role from Sir Alan Beith, who has been a good servant to the club and retires as an MP for the Berwick-upon-Tweed constituency this May.

Directors Len Eyre and John Bell were re-elected as they had ‘retired’ by rotation.
