Berwick Rangers are delighted to announce a special Grandparents day at Shielfield Park this December.

Grandparents (and parents – we won’t look too closely!) can take advantage of a special offer at our home fixture against Queen’s Park on Saturday, 15th December by bringing along children aged 15 and under who will receive a free Season Voucher.

This entitles young people to free admission to all of our remaining eleven first team SPFL games at Shielfield Park, as well as any SPFL Reserve League games too. The day is the latest event from a long-term initiative to get younger fans to associate with Berwick Rangers being ‘their team’.

Vice Chairman John Bell acknowledges the importance of young supporters to the future of the club: “At a time when television dominates football, we feel projects like this which help to introduce young fans to Shielfield are very important. The club recognises that perhaps it will be the grandparents of those kids who might welcome the opportunity to bring them along. Berwick Rangers is a key part of the fabric of the Berwick area, and we’ll be working hard to remind the local population that we very much appreciate their support.”

The club will continue to build on the work carried out with the community in recent years to ensure senior football continues to put the local area on the map.
