2020/21 Lowland League Fixtures confirmed as Season Tickets go on sale

Berwick Rangers Football Club will kick off their 2020/21 campaign on Saturday 10th October at home to Vale of Leithen.

It will be a busy start to the campaign with the Lowland League looking to make up for lost time in a month that will see the ‘Gers penned in to play no less than 6 fixtures.

After the opener, the ‘Gers will then hit the road for the first time as we take on Spartans at Ainslie Park on Tuesday 13th October, and travel away once more to take on Caledonian Braves at Alliance Park on Saturday 17th.

Berwick will then be back at Shielfield Park for a double-header, hosting East Kilbride (Tuesday 24th) and Edinburgh University (Tuesday 27th), before the month culminates in an away trip to the Indodrill Stadium to take on BSC Glasgow on the 31st.

Other notable dates include hosting Gala Fairydean Rovers on Boxing Day before visiting them on New Year’s Day, and ending our campaign with a trip to Kelty Hearts.

The club’s full fixture list is available via the official site here, with all games remaining subject to change pending any developments regarding the Covid-19 situation.

With the Dream Team’s first game now confirmed, supporters have just under a month to wait to see their side back in competitive action. The club will endeavour to update its fans with regards to supporter attendance as and when more is known.

Manager Ian Little said: “We’ve been waiting for this day for a while now and it’s great to finally get a start date in the diary and have some competitive matches to look forward to.

“The squad will be continuing to work hard over the next few weeks of pre-season to ensure that we’re raring to go for the first game on October 10th and hopefully, by then, we will have reached a point where fans will be allowed into matches.”

SEASON TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Following on from the news that the club’s fixtures have been announced for the new campaign, Berwick Rangers are pleased to confirm that Season Tickets are available to purchase from its online store for those of all ages.

The club had launched an offer in recent weeks that will see any youngsters affiliated with a local football club be able to purchase a season ticket at the price of just £5 – their usual cost of entry to a single Lowland League game. This offer remains available to all junior footballers, and can be applied for here.

Today the club can confirm that prices have been set for the new campaign at £130 for Adults, £65 for Concessions and £50 for all other Junior Season Tickets.

The prices mean that adults could save as much as £40 over the course of a season; that senior citizens, students, unemployed fans, fans with a disability, serving armed forces personnel and veterans can save up to £25 and youngsters can save up to £45 – or £80 if they play for a local youth team.
